The class leading Yamaha F4A HP four-stroke outboard engine features:
* Proper gear lever operated clutch facility
* Marine quality twist grip throttle
* Full water cooling
* F N R Gears
* Smoother, quieter and reliable operation
The Yamaha F4A is the smallest and lightest 4 HP four-stroke outboard engine on the market, but still has the features you expect on larger units.
It has a twist grip throttle with adjustable friction, an integral fuel tank, forward, neutral and reverse gears, and a steering friction adjustment. It also features a multi-angle shallow water drive, which allows the engine to be partially tilted when operating the outboard in shallow conditions.
Also standard is a socket on the front of the cowling, which is ready to accept the fuel line from the optional remote fuel tank. This feature costs up to £70.00 extra on competitors engines!
Having a remote fuel tank allows the range to be greatly increased without the potentially hazardous re-fuelling of the engine whilst at sea. This feature is especially popular with owners using the engine as an auxiliary and for those using it on inland waterways, as the popular optional 12 litre remote fuel tank will allow the engine to run for hours and hours!
All this in an outboard that only weighs from 22kg.
