This Yamaha F20B outboard engine is easy to handle and control. It provides strong performance, smoothness, fuel economy, reduced exhaust emissions, and amazing versatility. Add in some features normally only found on larger engines, such as computer-controlled ignition, special light-load starting system, water-cooled fuel pump and large-volume silencer, to see why it is the perfect choice for commercial, professional or leisure use. This engine has a 362cc capacity powerhead, which offers excellent torque to punch a boat up onto the plane, combined with very low engine noise and great fuel economy. On the tiller control models, not only is the gear lever mounted at the front of the engine maximum for operator convenience and comfort, but a quick adjust steering friction lever is also mounted at the front.
A 10 amp alternator is standard on all models, as is Yamaha’s almost legendary reliability. Choose between a standard and long shaft model with hand start, tiller control, or electric start, remote control. Also available are some remote control, electric start models which even have power tilt, enabling the operator to tilt the engine at the press of a button.
